Delete Your Account

Delete in the app

Sign in to TrafTruth, open the account panel from Settings, choose Delete account and confirm. The request removes the account profile, active sessions, synced followed websites, research notes, notification preferences and monitoring snapshots. Local recent searches and shortcuts can be cleared separately in Settings or by removing app or extension storage.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@traftruth.com from the address associated with the account and request deletion. We may ask for limited information to verify ownership. We do not ask for your password, verification code, full payment-card number or API key.

What may remain

Subscription and transaction records remain with Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their policies and legal obligations. Pseudonymous usage records, security logs and protected backups may remain for their stated retention period or until routine deletion, where permitted by law. We may retain information required for fraud prevention, disputes or legal compliance.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting a TrafTruth account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase. You may delete the TrafTruth account before or after canceling.
